Knife handle and barksheath
Knife handle and barksheath
In this workshop we make our own knife, from a blade and put a greenwood handle on it and carve it into a personal knife.
We also make a birchbark sheath for you new knife to carry it around safely.
We will teach you all about finding the right wood for the handle, fitting the blade to the handle, carving it into size and how to harvest birshbark and making a traditional sheath for your knife.
All materials for this workshop will be provided and you can bring home the knife after the workshop.
